Lily’s world comes crashing down around her when she receives tragic news from her doctor.

Meanwhile, in the wake of her accident Sarah returns to University slightly on edge, but with Chris still by her side; Tom’s feelings plague him as he worries about Sarah; Julian and Elspeth’s friendship faces sabotage; and Lisa’s persistence with discovering who Ryan really is leads to some awkward confrontations…and a shock revelation…

Meanwhile, Julian continues his bet, Lily becomes frustrated when her Doctor admits her for more tests, and Lisa struggles to fit in at University.

Frustrated by her increasingly absent boyfried, Christopher, Sarah begins to grow close to Tom, while Julian relishes single life and enjoys various conquests. At the same time however, tensions rise between the socially awkward Ryan and the overly confident Lisa.

As the week commences some find the transition easier than others, but as the final night nears, surprises await everyone, and any expectations they had for the year ahead are shattered…
