The LUSU Full Time Officer Elections marks the first major live broadcast of this year. We will be broadcasting live the candidate question time on Monday 1st March, 7pm, from George Fox, and this will be followed by our results programme on Friday 5th March, from 7.45pm, coming from our main studio as well as the results location itself, this year Barker House Farm.
The results programme is our largest broadcast of the week, outputting approximately 4 hours of live material, with two presenting teams and a technical crew of at least 19. In the studio we will have commentary and opinion from our guests, including last years AU President Gaz Goleman. We will also have comprehensive graphical analysis, with voting breakdowns college by college.
An incredible amount of work is going on to ensure we can bring you the very best coverage. You can watch us online, on IPTV, and across campus (including most college bars).
Alternatively, if you want to get involved, presenting or technical wise, then this is a great opportunity to do so!! All you have to do is email engineering@lutube.tv, it’s as simple as that! Don’t worry if you haven’t had previous experience – we’ll even provide the training!
